This presentation targets primary care providers who care for children with learning and attentional problems. After the presentation the attendees will understand the epidemiology, underlying pathology, and the clinical approach to evaluating and starting treatment for ADHD.

Dementia, particularly Alzheimer’s Disease, is an increasingly prevalent clinical problem facing patients, families and clinicians. This presentation will review how to recognize the most common forms of dementing illness and their management with emphasis on discussing Alzheimer’s Disease including diagnosis, work up and management. The talk will focus on practical approaches appropriate to the outpatient primary care setting. The controversial new monoclonal antibody therapy for Alzheimer’s Disease will also be covered.
